Accompanists organized by the above participants can also take part in the master class. The program will include selected works from the competition repertoire. Participation is free of charge.

Registration for the master class is possible after admission to the competition.

The mezzo-soprano and contralto Elvira Bill performs throughout Europe as a renowned interpreter of early and contemporary music. A special focus of her work lies in the Protestant church music of the Baroque – an expertise she is happy to share with the participants of the Telemann Competition.

Before Peter Van Heyghen embarked on a career as ensemble conductor, he was mainly active as a recorder player and singer. In addition to conducting, he is primarily dedicated to teaching historical performance practice and musicological research.

Kris Verhelst is considered one of the most important interpreters in the basso continuo practice of the 18th century. Numerous international concerts as a soloist and basso continuo player with renowned ensembles and orchestras as well as an extensive discography bear witness to her experience. She teaches at the Amsterdam Conservatory, among others, and regularly conducts master classes.
