12th International Telemann Competition for voice open for application
The International Telemann Society invites singers between the ages of 18 and 34 who are committed to the historically informed singing practice to apply for the 12th International Telemann Competition in Magdeburg.
The competition will take place from 10 to 19 March 2023 at the Gesellschaftshaus Magdeburg and comprises three public rounds. Participants will be judged by an international, top-class jury which will be chaired by Howard Arman. Other members of the jury will be Bernarda Fink, Peter Kooij, Benno Schachtner, Markus Schäfer and Elisabeth Scholl.
The registration process is open now. A preselection based on video recordings will determine who may take part in the competition. The deadline for applications is Friday, January 6, 2023.
